Unity in the Community - A Mural in Teralta Park
For the past five years, the Alliance has worked with City Heights residents and community leaders to design and create a mural in Teralta Park. The mural, titled Unity in the Community was conceived with input from hundreds of City Heights residents.
We are so close to realizing our goal but have one final hurdle to overcome: Caltrans' approval to use the community's chosen words in the art.
KPBS and the Media Arts Center San Diego visited the Teralta Park team and spoke with Maria Cortez, Dan Tomsky, and Linda Sheridan to learn more about the story.
